
Rank Six, Officer Appointment
n Fire and Brimstone, Officers are appointed by the Guild Leader. There are no elections or popularity contests to win. You are appointed based on the following guidelines:
Officer Appointment Guidelines into The Round Table
• Minimum weekly play time of 30+ hours
• Excellent communication skills as demonstrated by your frequent forum posts, voice chat skills, and ability to convey complicated directions in an easy to understand format
• Complete understanding and support of all Guild matters including policies, laws, and structure
• Good public relations promoter for the Guild
• Complete and total “The Guild Comes First” mentality
• Excellent people skills that proves you can handle issues and bring them to a positive resolution
• You excel in your character class and are a minimum of level 48
• You attend meetings, events, or other formal gatherings on time, and are rarely absent
• You are trustworthy
embers who have been appointed to Officer by the Guild Leader, together form The Round Table and governing body of the Guild. Your duty is to support the Guild Leader in his benevolent dictatorship role at all times. In addition, you are expected to oversee the various Guild Divisions and ensure that members are functioning at their best.
If you entertain becoming an Officer, your road to this position is based on your entire career in the Guild, from the moment you are a Recruit to reaching Elder status. Not everyone can become an Officer. There are only a few Officer positions available and once all Officer positions are filled, they are vacated either voluntarily or by mutual consent between the Guild Leader and the Officer. Rarely will an Officer be demoted, but he will find himself stripped of his ranks and possibly dismissed from the Guild should his performance demand such drastic actions.
he Guild is structured in a way that allows those who would like a leadership role to attain that status by climbing up the Ranks and reaching Elder status. Elder status will satisfy the majority of folks who yearn for the respect of one who has proven leadership abilities and has climbed the Ranks.
Becoming an Officer pushes the envelope of responsibility. It is at times demanding and frustrating. However, it is also the highest achievement and personal goal you can attain in this Guild. Because of this, Officers will enjoy perks and rewards to sustain their drive to remain in a leadership position.

Acting Officers
When the game launches, there will be in place Acting Officers for important start-up roles. The Acting Officers will be appointed by the Guild Leader at his or her discretion. Once members attain Elder rank, the permanent Officers will be appointed and the Acting Officer position goes null. Bear in mind, that if you are named as an Acting Officer, it does not ensure you will be appointed as a permanent Officer once you reach Elder rank. You also must climb the ranking system while holding an Acting Officer position.
For example, a member who holds a Rank 1 position in the Adventuring Division and is also an Acting Officer, would hold this title:
